Beautiful hand-painted paper-mache Russian lacquer box from Palekh, 1983. Signed and numbered by the artist, with original box and certificate. Dimensions: 2 and 7/16 inches circular diameter. Intricate scroll-work floral design around sides of box.
Inscribed "Made in USSR" on base. Please note: Box does not open. I do not want to damage it, so have not forced it open.
